The IP230 is one of the most powerful system telephones within the innovaphone PBX. The 7-line display provides the telephone with a concise user guide. There are 10 direct-dial keys, which can be used for speed dialling, pickup and status indicator in addition to the feature keys next to the display. Each attachable add-on module extends the number of direct-dial keys by 30.
Simultanous protocols H.323 and SIP
The IP230 supports the protocol H.323 as well as SIP. Therefore the IP phone can be connected simultanously to the local PBX and to a public SIP provider. Both registrations can be done at the same time using the multiple registration feature.
Perfect extension for office environment
The 10 direct-dial keys on the IP230 show the calling status and they can be used for speed dialling and pick-up functions. An extension module available with 30 additional direct-dial keys is ideal especially for operator and secretary desks. The head set interface provides an additional service for people who use the telephone extensively.
State-of-the-art headset interface
The IP230 has an interface for headsets according to the technical guidelines for cordless telephone headsets (DHSG). The headset interface enables call disconnection and pickup via a button on the headset itself. Thus the complicated and fragile handset pickup mechanism is no longer necessary. In addition this interface also supports the functions of volume setting and muting.
High-Speed Ethernet Connection
The telephone is connected to the data network via an Ethernet port. An internal Ethernet switch is available as a second Ethernet port. It can be used to connect further devices such as a PC to the network. The Ethernet port also serves as the telephone's power supply. The telephone uses the standard 802.3af for Power over LAN.
